Today, we announced the rebranding of our Blog360 practice and the hiring of Tom Biro to head our "new media" work. For the practice now called DialogueMedia, Tom will be leading strategies for MWW and our clients on blogs, wiki, podcasts and other media that will create an open dialogue between organizations and their key constituents. Additionally, today Tom launched MWW's second blog...Open the Dialogue...please take a look and let Tom and I know what you think. EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., October 10, 2005 – MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation’s top ten public relations firms, announced today the addition of Tom Biro as director, new media strategies. Biro a leading expert in blogging and new media, will head MWW’s recently re-branded new media practice – "DialogueMedia" (formerly known as Blog 360°). DialogueMedia provides MWW and its clients with the ability to develop specialized programs including blogs, podcasts, wiki, mobile marketing and other new media programs.
In conjunction with the launch of MWW’s DialogueMedia practice, the firm has started a new blog, Open the Dialogue (openthedialogue.com), which Biro will author. It will be focused on the world of new media, including commentary on blog usage in business, new media tools and other relevant communications topics. This is MWW Group’s second blog, with the first belonging to CEO Michael Kempner, whose MWW Straight Talk blog (mwwstraighttalk.com) was re-launched this past August.

Prior to MWW, Biro worked as a leading blogger for his own site themediadrop.com and as a writer for many sites including adjab.com, tvsquad.com and cinematical.com. He has also done technical consulting and editorial writing for baristanet.com, a local citizen journalism website focused on several New Jersey communities.
Prior to his blogging endeavors, Biro was marketing communications manager with Deutsche Telekom, where he handled trade shows and events, email marketing campaigns, web site development and media and analyst relations. Previously, he served at American Express in a variety of senior marketing roles.
Biro began his career as a financial analyst at Meridian Health Systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a management concentration, from Monmouth University.
