What if YOU have a Heart Attack?
March 20, 2006

Not to be morbid...and hold the jokes please....but, a friend of mine just sent me this very short, but extraordinarily important instruction on what to do if you are alone and are having a heart attack...reading this might just save your life.

It was created by the Columbia University Hospital Department of Surgery. I would encourage you to send this [PowerPoint slideshow] to as many friends and family as you can...by doing this you will contribute to saving lives.

NOTE: There seems to be some controversy about whether this advice is accurate…I have spoken to several cardiologists who confirm the value of this information, but I have also read other opinions that debunk it and call it ineffective…so, I will leave it up to the reader to determine if it is has value for them.
