A great point, Michael. Agreed, it's time to nudge PR leaders forward, out from behind the curtain. If a view differs from that of a client -- that's okay. Societies have appreciably grown because of those who dared to express a different point of view. Disparate views propel debate and help leaders reach a positive and productive consensus. As you say, there's a power in the PR voice, and wisdom and, in these challenging times, we need that unique leadership perspective in the debate, at the decision table, making a difference. Thanks again for the post.

I think You should rethink your support of Obama and start an immediate PR campaign to draft Michael Bloomberg. Are you afraid of posting an opposing opinion or comment.

I think it's wonderful that Sun has chosen to move into the digital space. Many companies are wary of the repercussions, and I fear for their long-term success as a result of that. Thank you for your entry! Congratulations to Sun for taking a chance, and I hope other companies will follow suite.

Todays current events were obvious two years ago or maybe more. What did the goverment/party in control of the congress do about it...accept favors from Jack the "othadox jew" Abramoff. Were are the Teddy Roosvelts of today?
